On Thursday 24th January 2019, the South West’s most ambitious, inspirational and exciting businesses, charities and individuals will gather at The DoubleTree by Hilton in Swindon, for the 2019 South West Business and Community Awards.
Over 300 nominations have been received across 12 award categories, and we are delighted to have been shortlisted in two:
Business of the Year | Cardwave Services Ltd
Male Entrepreneur of the Year | Paul Norbury
2018 has been a challenging year for Cardwave. The flash memory market is known to be volatile, but availability of good product has continued to be a real issue and as demand increases, supply chains and customer expectations have needed expert management. Despite these challenges Cardwave has continued to offer exceptional service to its’ loyal customers and partners, and enjoyed considerable success including the launch of SafeToGo® Solo (New Product of the Year 2018 – Computing Security Awards), the ‘Flying the Flag for Swindon and Wiltshire Tech’ award at the Techies 2018 and a new SafeToGo® Solutions website which showcases Cardwave’s growing portfolio of data security solutions.
“To be shortlisted for any award is always exciting but to be shortlisted for two, especially when the competition is so strong, is fantastic and a great way to end the year” said Cardwave’s founder, Chief Executive and award nominee, Paul Norbury.
Paul continued “We look forward to attending the awards ceremony in January, and to not only recognising outstanding business achievement across the region but also celebrating the community in which we operate.”
During 2018 Cardwave has supported a number of local charities including Caenhill Countryside Centre, WW1 commemorative tree planting in Devizes, Opendoors, Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Bishops Cannings U14 Jedis.
