Oh what night!
Paul Norbury and other members of the Cardwave team joined over 100 representatives from Swindon and Wiltshire’s IT community last night at Hartham Park (near Corsham) for the inaugural The Techies awards ceremony.
An initiative from The Business Exchange, the awards were created to celebrate the innovation and entrepreneurship of the IT community in Swindon & Wiltshire.
Over the course of the evening 12 awards were presented, the final award of the night being that of ‘Flying the Flag for Swindon & Wiltshire Tech’ an accolade that went to Cardwave for ‘doing their bit to get Swindon and Wiltshire recognised on a global stage for their innovative technology’.
We were up against some tough competition so are extremely honoured and proud to have received this award, and to be recognised for our contribution to the industry/area.
Congratulations to all of last night’s award winners (and finalists), and a big thank you to everyone involved in this year’s The Techies. Look forward to seeing you again at The Techies 2019!
