IMDS is a database of materials and components widely used across the automotive industry.

PPAP is commonly used within the aerospace, automotive and other manufacturing sectors. It is an 18-step process designed to ensure high quality and consistency in the design and production of goods.

WEEE Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment recycling

WEEE aims to reduce the creation of electronic waste and reduce the amount of electronic waste sent to landfill.

Importance is placed on recycling because electronic waste often contains rare earth minerals which can be recycled.

The WEEE logo is affixed to all electronic products Cardwave supply, or to associated documents if this is not possible.

RoHS Restriction of Hazardous Substances

RoHS legislation restricts the use of hazardous substances such as lead, mercury or cadmium in electronic equipment.

Cardwave and our suppliers comply with RoHS legislation and can supply RoHS declarations upon request.

CMRT Conflict Minerals Reporting Template

CMRT is an industry standard template created by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI). It is used to report the country of origin of minerals and the smelters and refiners used during that process.

The aim of this is to eliminate usage of minerals within the supply chain that originate from areas of armed conflict and to prevent the usage of materials which would fund war efforts.

Companies have both a legal and ethical duty to ensure conflict minerals are not used within their supply chain.

Cardwave can supply CMRT declarations upon
request.
